What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist A position at Space Age Credit Union?
We are seeking a motivated individual with strong work ethics for our Accounting Specialist A position at our Corporate Headquarters. It is essential that you have attention for detail. Experience in an accounting department or banking background would be beneficial. One to three years of similar or related expernse is needed. This is a 40 hour a week position.
This position is responsible for performing necessary functions to establish and maintain ATM/shared branch accounts and both corporate and member share share draft accounts. Assists with daily balancing of general ledger and cash transactions.
We have an excellent benefit package and a good compensation plan a well as incentive plans for Non-Exempt positions.
You receive 14 days of leave (pto) immediately or pro-rated if you start during the year and then you receive 14 days on January 1. This goes up as your time does here so it moves to 18, 21, etc. You also receive 6 sick days a year that are earned through the year. You also receive your Birthday off!
You receive 75% paid health, dental and vision as well as fully paid life insurance and long term disability. You receive 11 holidays a year and if a holiday falls on a Saturday, since we DO NOT work Saturdays, you receive a floating day so that you never lose your 11 holidays. We also have an excellent 401k plan.
