IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN)

Summary You will serve as a Test Lead in the Testing & Evaluation (T&E) Program at NIWC ATLANTIC. While you may oversee various T&E programs in different domains, the main focus will be over afloat and / or underwater platforms. Responsibilities You will lead a test team of government and contractor personnel. You will write and maintain the program Test and Evaluation documentation You will evaluate new applications of technologies, obtain and manage necessary people and resources to execute and report testing. You will ensure the test environment is adequate for the test events. You will develop functional tests for system development and integration based on the mission. You will verify software is loaded properly and work with Test and Evaluation contractors from various companies overseeing their results. You will develop Test and Evaluation strategy to documents the testing approach. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : analyzing AND / OR refining system requirements for testability, working with customers, test applications, AND testing the intergration of hardware and software components.
