Position Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with independent used car dealerships, presenting our suite of products and services, and facilitating demonstrations with our Chief Revenue Officer. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and target independent used car dealerships within the DFW area that have an inventory of 50 or more vehicles and are seeking a competitive edge.
  • Initiate contact with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and in-person visits.
  • Present Space Auto's products and services effectively, highlighting the benefits and value propositions tailored to each dealership's needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations with the Chief Revenue Officer, ensuring a seamless experience for potential clients.
  • Achieve monthly targets, including securing 4 dealership closures, setting up 16 demos, and contacting at least 48 dealers.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and progress using our CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position Space Auto's offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client feedback is communicated and addressed promptly.

Compensation and Benefits :

  • Base Salary :  $4,000 per month, paid semi-monthly on the 1st and 15th.
  • Commission Structure :
  • 30% commission on revenue from each closed deal, applicable for up to 4 closures per month.
  • 40% commission on any closures exceeding 4 in a given month.
  • Commission Payout :  Commissions are paid in full on the 15th of the month following the contract closure.
  • Clawback Provisions :  Commission will be revoked if the client cancels, doesn't pay the invoice, or doesn't launch within 90 days of contract closure.
  • Mileage Reimbursement :  Reimbursement for business-related travel at the standard IRS mileage rate, with accurate tracking and monthly reimbursement.

  • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the automotive or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive dealership landscape, particularly independent used car dealerships.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the DFW area.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
