Business Service Specialist Salary Range
- $23.36 - $24.89
Business Service Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives business member phone calls, conducts loan interviews, assesses business member needs, and cross sells other SCCU products and services in order to provide efficient, friendly, effective service to the business member.
- Determines SCCU business membership eligibility requirements per established procedures.
- Opens new business memberships and add-on deposit products for existing business members to ensure the retention and profitability of business memberships.
- Processes account documents to be completed for the business deposit accounts and finalizes the account funding.
- Performs business account maintenance, resolves business member problems, obtains information, researches records, follows up on details, assesses business member needs timely and efficiently and reports the results to the inquiring party to develop and sustain profitable business member relationship.
- Knows features, advantages, and benefits of all SCCU consumer and business products and services and recommends appropriate product or service to enhance member relationships.
- Maintains a thorough and current knowledge of SCCU business lending and deposit account promotions, criteria, guidelines, procedures, policies, and processes, in order to provide business members with current information, and process business loans, commercial mortgages and business deposit accounts appropriately.
- Meets established productivity standards to ensure efficiency and a return on SCCU’s human resources investment.
- Enters the business loan or new account application in the Criterion System in accordance with required data entry procedures to meet established quality standards.
- Communicates with business borrowers during the underwriting and closing processes to ensure member expectations are met consistently.
- Serves as a primary contact for internal SCCU staff for questions regarding business accounts, business/commercial loans, products and services.
Business Service Specialist Minimum Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years prior experience in a business loan administration and/or mortgage loan servicing role or equivalent is required, in addition to prior experience in business loan processing/interviewing or 1 to 3 years proven sales & customer service experience.
- High School education or GED required. Additional course work gained through vocational, technical or business school is a plus
Hours
- Must be available M – F 7:45 am - 7:00 pm, and rotating Saturdays 8:45am - 2am
Salary : $23 - $25
