Short Description
The Contracts Manager will support the Enterprise Risk Management Department in the development, management, maintenance, and governance of Space Coast Credit Union’s third-party risk management (TPRM) program. They will develop, recommend, and deploy policies, procedures, and tools required to effectively manage and oversee third-party risk across the three lines of defense. They will also assist with the deployment of processes, enabling adoption, compliance, and training throughout the Credit Union. They will keep abreast of regulatory changes and incorporate those changes into the program. The Contracts Manager will assist in the vendor selection process, help determine the scope of work, oversee the risk assessment and due diligence processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the lifecycle of SCCU vendors, assists with the RFP and initial risk analysis of vendors, and coordinates with relevant resources for initial and ongoing due diligence reviews.
- Acts as liaison between business units, Enterprise Risk Management Department, and legal counsel in the management of third-party risk.
- Ensures risk assessment and due diligence review is complete for each vendor, with proper sign off, on all contracts prior to execution.
- Partners with business units on vendor contract review and negotiations based on business needs and legal guidelines, and assist business units in determining service level agreements (SLA).
- Assists in the development and maintenance of Third-Party/Vendor Risk Management policy, procedures, and software.
- Develop and update contract playbook with required contractual language
- Promote clear interpretation and adherence to regulatory guidance set forth by the NCUA, FFIEC, and CFPB.
- Manages, leads, and supports direct reports to effectively meet the TPRM responsibilities of the Credit Union.
- Provides reporting of TPRM processes, including contract pipeline, due diligence reviews, and vendor compliance.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years’ of experience required with contract management, preferably within a financial institution.
- Experience in negotiating complex and dynamic legal documents required.
Education and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience in third-party/vendor management, contract management, and/or other relevant experience.
- CRVPM or equivalent third-party/vendor risk management certification preferred.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
Schedule:
- Full Time during department hours of operation.
- Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
- Flex Scheduling and Work From Home( up to 3 days a week) Hybrid options available.
