We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance / Financial Controller to lead the finance function of a high-growth, well-backed FinTech MNC with multiple business lines and a significant ASEAN presence. This role is a critical leadership position responsible for driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and financial governance in a fast-scaling environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience, with a strong track record in fast-growing, PE / VC-backed FinTech companies. You will work closely with the C-suite team to shape financial strategy, ensure robust financial controls, and support the company’s continued expansion across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function, partnering with the C-suite to drive financial planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee forecasting, financial modelling, and scenario analysis to support business growth and investment decisions.
- Ensure strong financial controls, risk management, and compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with investors, banks, and financial institutions on capital raising, debt financing, and treasury management.
- Collaborate with key business leaders to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance financial performance across multiple business lines.
- Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting, including management accounts, investor reporting, and statutory filings.
- Implement scalable finance processes and systems to support a high-growth environment.
- Provide financial due diligence and strategic insights for potential acquisitions and new market entry.
