SGAC has opened up a vacancy for a key role within the organization to work closely with the SGAC Public Relations and Communications (PR & Comms) Team.
The SGAC Graphic Designer will work with members of the PR & Comms team to develop graphic elements for use in SGAC’s global, regional, and local activities. The position will offer opportunities to work with passionate individuals in the space sector, as well as an increased awareness of the various space activities happening around the world.

Responsibilities
The major tasks of the Graphic Designer will include, but not be limited to :
- SGAC Brand Materials
Work with members in the SGAC network to develop event logos, maintain or update key brand materials (thank-you cards, year-in-review graphics, social media graphics)
Work with the PR & Comms team members to develop graphics for social media postings, newsletters, and other web- / digital-based graphic elements.
Work with the PR & Comms team members to develop graphics for print brochures, cards / letters, and banners.
The SGAC Graphic Designers will be required to spend 2-5 hours per week on tasks. This position requires excellent English skills, good computer skills, and speedy email response time.
High proficiency on digital graphic design software, preferably Adobe Products. Key softwares include : Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
As with all SGAC positions, meetings and work will be completed virtually. The selected applicant must be easily accessible via e-mail and phone on a daily basis. Communication skills and the ability to respond in a timely manner are vital.
This is a volunteer position.
