SSI is seeking a Ground Integration Lead (PWSA) to support our customer in Chantilly, VA.

SSI is seeking a Ground Integration Lead (PWSA) to support our customer in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure ground segment designs and implementation meet system requirements
- Ensure ground segment designs and deliverables are tested against planned testing procedures
- Evaluate and participate in integration testing across levels of the ground segment
- Support the SDA’s Ground Segment Program Management and Tranche-specific Systems Engineering teams
- May serve as the Ground Capability Test Team (CTT) Lead with/to the SDA’s test enterprise
- Review engineering documents and provide SME support
- Participate in milestones to include, but not limited to: System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, and Critical Design Review activities and provide subject matter expertise
- Provide technical advice/input to customer’s leadership that lays the strategic foundation for critical, national capability and customer’s future initiatives
- Work with the development team to clarify requirements, provide feedback on code quality and ensure defects identification and resolution occurs on time
- Work with development team engineers to support integration of both software and hardware-in-the-loop development, test, and operational environments
- Evaluate software performance and assess its compatibility with new mission and CONOPS
- Participate in anomaly resolution activities
- Contribute to the development of systems- and mission-level modeling and simulation tools
- Contribute to the execution of modeling and simulation activities
- Collaborate with other teams by actively participating in cross-functional communication to ensure that all teams integrate system requirements throughout program lifecycles
- Resolve highly complex and multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables that impact multiple aspects of the project/program
- Assess ground segment impacts of new hardware, software, CONOPS, and missions
- Support requirements management and analysis, interface management, architecture development, and test and evaluation processes
- Incorporate Joint Warfighter, Mission Partners, and internal SDA team’s feedback on product strategy and identify the best path to improve efficiencies
- Collect and analyze feedback from end-users, stakeholders, and other teams to shape integration processes
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in and technical and analytic understanding of space and/or ground segment integration, testing, and evaluation.
- Agile framework familiarity.

- TS/SCI clearance required (ability to obtain/maintain).
- Master’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
- 12 years’ experience and specific expertise in space and/or ground segment integration, testing, and evaluation.
- Agile framework experience including the use of Jira/Confluence.
- Experience with DoD and/or IC customers.
- Recent experience with space and/or ground systems.
