SpaceNav is seeking a talented engineer to join our team. The engineering work is full-time and will be performed on-site at the TraCSS Operations Center located in Boulder, CO.
As the Space Situational Awareness (SSA) Operations Outreach Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the technical engagement with the TraCSS user community and other stakeholder organizations. You will facilitate discussions with satellite operators, SSA data providers, government, and commercial entities to solicit feedback on both the present and future of TraCSS services. This position requires the successful candidate to be self-motivated and at times work with little supervision. The ability to interact with other professionals in various sectors is critical.
Responsibilities
- Communicate the OSC short-term and long-term vision for TraCSS.
- Facilitate registration and the use of TraCSS.
- Lead technical discussions across the TraCSS user community and gather feedback on TraCSS support.
- Engage with government and commercial stakeholder organizations and agencies.
- regarding operational issues, data requirements, and organizational responsibilities.
