Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse team members and provide daily directives.
- Ensure orders are packed in an orderly and secure manner to prevent damage in transit.
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Review supply inventories on a weekly and/or monthly basis.
- Design load patterns as needed
- Overseeing the movement of materials from the warehouse to the loading dock onto the trucks for
delivery to the customer.
- Must monitor daily shipping/receiving activities
- Ensuring that shipping and receiving products is moved in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse while maintaining good safety practices.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- Forklift certified
- One year related experience in warehousing or a similar industry
- Ability to multitask
- Self-Starter
- Good oral and written skills
- Ability to be a team player and meet deadlines
