PROPELLANT SCHEDULER
The Starship Launch Operations team is looking for a highly motivated individual to procure, schedule, and internally distribute propellants for launch and testing needs. This role will work closely with engineers, technicians, supply chain, finance, and suppliers in a critical support role at the Starbase Launch facility to ensure propellant does not drive rate. This role will be responsible for using analytics to provide business critical insight to ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Be the liaison between the supply chain, operations, engineering, technicians, and propellant vendors to coordinate fuel & gas deliveries to the site
- Translate site demand into a weekly delivery schedule for various third-party vendors
- Provide daily visibility, weekly status, and monthly reviews on schedule performance, cost, and estimated vs. actual consumption
- Make fast-paced decisions regarding internal and external resource allocations to support dynamic or unpredictable operations
- Proactively evaluate & flag schedule risks / trends to management based on past performance data, knowledge of bottlenecks, demand vs supply, external market factors, and lead time
- Identify and characterize system pitfalls with propellant management and delivery
- Develop relationships with numerous third-party vendors to ensure effective communication and to creatively source prop in times of need

Pay range :
Propellant Scheduler / Level I : $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 / per year
Propellant Scheduler / Level II : $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 / per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
