What are the responsibilities and job description for the Satellite Network Integration Specialist position at SpaceX?
At SpaceX, we are pushing the boundaries of space technology to make humanity a multi-planetary species. As an Integration & Test Engineer on our Starlink team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing the electrical and network systems that enable fast and reliable internet connectivity for millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and operate test hardware and equipment to evaluate component and system performance for various mobility network applications
- Troubleshoot hardware issues in real-time and provide feedback to eliminate repeat problems
- Aid in investigations and root-cause analysis of any non-conformances and work with responsible engineers to develop test requirements for flight hardware, driving hardware and system design improvements
- Work with teams across disciplines to conceptualize and develop test systems required to test Starlink hardware
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline OR 4 years of professional experience in a mechanical design, manufacturing or integration & test environment is required. Preferred skills include experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, and/or structural systems, as well as documentation and configuration management experience.
