Senior Computer Hardware Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time / Contingent

Salary Range: maximum salary $152K (depending on experience)

Work Location: Hybrid (see onsite requirements below).

• On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training/tasking may require occasional on-site work at Patuxent River, MD. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received
  
  

Essential Functions:

• Researches, designs, develops, or tests computer or computer-related equipment
• for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use
• Supervises the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components
• Evaluates Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) hardware products
• Other duties as assigned or required
  
  
  

Requirements

• Experience providing hardware engineering support required
• At least seven (7) years of experience performing work related to the essential functions
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field OR has one of the following identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications: CCSP; CCNA; CCNP; CASP ; GCED; GCIH; GCIA; GCLD; GDSA; FITSP-O-NG; GFACT; GSEC; GICSP; GSEC; or SSCP
  
  

Security Clearance:

Must have an active or interim secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:

BS degree in Computer Science or related field OR has one of the following identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications: CCSP; CCNA; CCNP; CASP ; GCED; GCIH; GCIA; GCLD; GDSA; FITSP-O-NG; GFACT; GSEC; GICSP; GSEC; or SSCP
