About Our Staff Accountant Role :
Staff Accountants work within the Accounting Department and are responsible for monitoring and collecting data to assess accuracy and integrity; analyze data; ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control; interpret and evaluate results; prepare documentation; create financial reports; and applying the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) that includes analytical work and thorough review of financial records. Additionally, the incumbent is also responsible for keeping Company financial data organized / updated, completing basic accounting-related tasks like maintaining records, preparing financial statements, financial reporting, budget preparation, and general bookkeeping for the Company.
Strategic Responsibilities :
- Fully understand and share a passion for the Company's core values, mission, and objectives.
- Provide leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the Company are put into practice.
- Support the Controller in providing strategic recommendations to the members of the executive management team.
- Promote the day-to-day implementation of strategic business plans within the Accounting Department at the direction of the Controller and CFO.
- Partner with the Controller to implement and promote financial and tax strategies.
