Estimator – Property Restoration
Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in restoration or construction estimating? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where sales, negotiation, and project management intersect? If so, we want you on our team!
We are a leading restoration company seeking a skilled Estimator to assess property damage, write accurate estimates, and negotiate insurance settlements.
What You’ll Do :
Conduct site inspections of damaged properties and create detailed estimates using Xactimate software
Sell our restoration services to property owners, securing new projects
Negotiate insurance settlements with carriers to maximize claims for clients
Upload job documentation into PSA software for efficient work order creation
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure successful, profitable project completion
Prepare supplements and change orders as needed for comprehensive scopes of work
Work closely with trade partners and vendors to ensure accurate and competitive estimates
Maintain strong communication with clients and insurance adjusters, managing expectations throughout the project
Assist in project billing, collections, and Work in Progress (WIP) reporting
What We’re Looking For :
- Experience in restoration, construction, or insurance claims estimating
- Proficiency in Xactimate software (or willingness to learn)
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A degree or certification in Construction Management or Project Management (preferred)
