Proficiency in technology is essential for this role, as it involves working with various software applications and database systems. This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week. A background screening is required of all candidates offered employment.

REPORTS TO:
Pastor of Family Ministries
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
- Administrative Assistant to Pastor of Family Ministries.
- Manage the schedule of the Pastor of Family Ministries, including booking meetings and balancing workload.
- Coordinate weekly and other department team meetings; maintains notes for each meeting and send emails to participants following each meeting.
- Facility requests through E-Space facilities system.
- Work in the Arena database to update group lists and contacts.
- Order, pick up, and arrange/serve food.
- Manage registration, lists, seating, name tags.
- Purchase supplies and curriculum.
- Prepare and repack food, handouts, curriculum and room supplies for events and classes.
- Manage pastors’ reimbursements, mileage, invoices, receipts and travel.
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries.
- Handle Family Ministry related mail and email.
- Write, type and prepare correspondence.
- Collect funds and reconcile accounts for moneys charged for events and classes.
- Volunteer coordination for special mailings/projects.
- Follow-up with staff related to deadlines and items due.
- Assist FM Pastor with podcast by booking guests, editing and trimming recordings and uploading them for publishing.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 2 to 3 years administrative assistant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suite.
- Strong English grammar, editing and keyboard typing skills are required.
