The Merchandise Planning Coordinator will be supporting the overall Merchandise Planning team through overseeing Production Order Management, supporting Inventory Management, and Production tasks.

This role is based in our Atlanta headquarters and reports to a Planning Manager.
Job Description
You'll love it because you will...
- Create and manage production orders and cost sheets from inventory order recommendations, seasonal commit buys, and in-season chase buys for department and cross functional teams
- Coordinate with Production Managers to revise orders due to delays in development or production discrepancies
- Coordinate with Production Managers to revise orders due to requests for change from cross functional teams
- Manage weekly Production Order Maintenance to ensure accuracy, as well as Inventory Reports
- Use systems (such as Blue Cherry) to troubleshoot discrepancies in partnership with department and cross functional teams
- Support Inventory Management :
- Responsible for executing inventory transfer requests to balance inventory domestically and globally between Spanx warehouses
- Execute Production Orders for inventory order recommendations, seasonal commit buys, and in-season chase buys
- Manage administrative tasks and ad hoc reporting for the department as needed
- Manage weekly and monthly reporting to support department and cross functional teams
- Support Production Tasks :
- Manage a variety of On Order Reports for cross-functional partners
- Update and maintain POs per Production Team and Vendor requests
- Manage costing of Production Orders as needed
Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
