What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power BI Developer position at Sparibis?
Location: 100% Remote
Years’ Experience: 4 years professional experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT related field
Clearance: Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. NOTE: United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Power BI required.
- Experience with Cognos BI, DOB/Jupiter or other similar tools for generating reports, dashboards, metrics and visualizations.
- Must currently possess an active CompTIA Security certification.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop visualization products taking complex information from multiple sources.
- Design, develop and support statistical and predictive analytics dashboards and reports using Power BI or other tools such as Cognos BI, Qlik, and Databricks.
- Transform data sources into data tables within tools to include Power BI, Cognos BI, Qlik and Databricks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5 years professional experience.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree.
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance or higher clearance level.
- Must currently possess an active CompTIA Security certification.
- 4 years Power BI experience required.
- Additional Power Platform experience with tools for creating dashboards, visualization, reporting and metrics such as Cognos BI, DON/Jupiter, and/or Qlik a bonus.
- SharePoint development experience a bonus.
- Experience in data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data science or software engineering a bonus.
