Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office. The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting our staff and enhancing the overall productivity of the office environment. Candidates must be available in the afternoon/evening for this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Oversee front desk activities, including greeting visitors and managing incoming calls and emails.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and documentation for easy retrieval.
- Handle budgeting tasks, including tracking expenses and preparing reports.
- Coordinate human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
- Plan and organize company events, meetings, and employee activities.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial record keeping and reporting as needed.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Implement organizational strategies to improve workflow and productivity within the office.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.
- Familiarity with youth sports (gymnastics/cheerleading) a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Prior experience with event planning is desirable.
- Proficient in standard office software applications.
