Hotel General Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach to managing hotel staff, enhancing guest services, and maximizing revenue.

Duties

• Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee revenue management processes to optimize occupancy rates and average daily rates.
• Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to monitor performance against goals.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff.
• Address guest complaints or issues promptly to maintain a positive reputation for the hotel.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel through various channels.

Experience

• Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices.
• Experience in guest services with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus for communicating with diverse guests.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
• Familiarity with revenue management strategies to maximize profitability.
• Background in human resources functions related to hiring, training, and employee development.
• Experience in resort management is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
