Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that promote efficiency and quality.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across the facility.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping or team supervisory roles within the hospitality or industrial cleaning sectors.
- Strong understanding of guest services, custodial practices, and hotel operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate team members to achieve excellence in their work.
