Position Summary :
We are seeking a Rights Contract Information Specialist for an upcoming assignment with a key client.
Position Responsibilities :
- Review contracts for key information to data-enter into corresponding and applicable Excel deal template to be used for later system migration.
- Review or read each contract to effectively locate, identify and interpret contract metadata such as terms, counter-party names, dates, financial values, deal types, royalty and licensing rates, content description, media platform, and global territories / countries and languages.
- Assign metadata from contract to appropriate template fields from review of contract, agreement, addenda, and / or exhibits, and contract amendments.
- Follow Excel column heading and rules for entering and formatting the data into the appropriate cells.
- Fulfill each contract description and follow given SOP, resources, workflow documentation.
- Raise questions, exercise judgement and respond to feedback from internal Project Coordinator; take direction from internal Project Coordinator.
- Respond timely to internal inquiries and requests via verbal, online chat or email to support internal team communication.
- May include migration of contracts or metadata templates that require accurate and consistent adherence to naming conventions and format specification.
- May include use of client specific software such as cloud service, web service, saas system.
- Track contract completion in metrics assignment sheet and time entry daily.
- Exercise confidentiality of all company and client data per NDA
