Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team at Spark Talent Acquisition, Inc.
About the Role:
- Evaluate product feasibility with sales, engineering, and design teams for cost assessment.
- Analyze blueprints using Draftsmen, AutoCad, Inventor, and Solidworks to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Responsible for performing technical functions, providing technical direction, and ensuring project tasks are complete within schedule.
- Calculate material weights and usages, determining packaging and shipping costs as required.
- Maintain ongoing costs for formulations and correlate data in the system.
- Data entry from quotes into the system, setting up BOMs and routers.
- Evaluate cost estimating data and worksheet forms, making necessary changes as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field from a four-year college or university.
- Five years of related experience and/or training; minimum of 2 years of project analyst or contracts administration experience in manufacturing/production settings.
