The Assistant Director of Quality is responsible for executing top level field and quality priorities for the company, as well as cleaning, and leading the team of Sparkle cleaners.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the cleaning team in the field
- Monitor and manage quality to maintain Sparkle’s standards across the team and within all cleaning types
- Support the hiring process, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication, and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate of team members
- Review/ approve time off requests, schedule changed requests, and manage cleaner availability
- Manage new cleaners onboarding and participate in training them in the field and virtually
- Conduct 1-1s with cleaners to coach and support them. Give feedback and direction when needed.
- Support in field cleanings on an as needed basis including but not limited to being the lead on big jobs (leading the team and assigning spaces, checking quality, etc)
- Interact positively with other Sparkle departments and customers on quality issues
- Support quality field checks as needed
- Evaluate, analyze, and manage cleaning supplies and techniques and make improvement recommendations to gain cost efficiencies
- Implement changes to optimize cleaning techniques and field cleaning times
- Order supplies and equipment for the storage unit and stock when needed
- Organize and manage all equipment and supplies within Sparkle including refilling cleaning bottles as needed
- Create and manage new cleaner caddy’s and supplies for new hires and order/manage new inventory and Sparkle shirts
- Step in to clean on call ins, sick cleaner, large job, etc (may require occasional weekends)
- Coach and encourage the team to successfully obtain five star reviews
- Identify further up selling services to customers to grow the business and train the team to look for these areas
- Complete the weekly cleaning schedule
- Additional tasks and responsibilities based on business needs
Qualifications:
- A high energy individual with the tendency to fall into leadership roles
- Excellent time management and operational skills
- Prefer a fast-paced work environment
- Outstanding skills and knowledge of residential and/or commercial cleaning projects
- Optimist: You see the glass as half full and don’t allow challenges to derail your day
- An eye for details (some people call it OCD, we call it LOVE!)
- A passion for exceptional customer service
- * Have a valid driver’s license and car insurance
- * Access to reliable transportation daily from Monday-Friday and occasional weekends 8am – 5:30pm
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to work in areas that have animals
- Able to use Outlook, Google Docs, and various software programs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
