Sparks Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Professional to join our team in Hampton, VA . This is a full-time, on-site position . We are looking for a well-rounded HR professional who can contribute to a variety of functions, including benefits administration, compliance, recruiting, and learning and development. Job Summary :
The Human Resources Professional will play a key role in supporting our employees and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Benefits Administration : Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans. Manage enrollments, changes, and terminations. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions. Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, and other related regulations.
- Compliance : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. Ensure company policies and practices are compliant. Assist with audits and reporting requirements. Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Recruiting : Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies. Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and extend job offers. Maintain relationships with recruiting agencies and other external partners.
- Learning and Development : Identify employee training needs and develop and implement training programs. Maintain training records and track employee progress. Assist with performance management processes.
- Employee Relations : Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures. Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- HRIS Management : Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS system. Generate reports and analyze HR metrics.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
This job is In-Person.
Pay Range : Hourly $20.00 to $40.00
