Sparks Group is partnered with a large, thriving structural design and build professional services client seeking a strategic, highly motivated and experienced Sr. Cost Estimator to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of construction projects by providing accurate and timely cost estimates for large clients within the DMV area. Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates across all project phases, including conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support accurate cost estimations.
- Develop and maintain a basis of scope for bidding and estimating purposes.
- Prepare Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs) for construction projects, architectural and engineering studies, and maintenance work throughout the planning phase.
- Perform change order estimates and prepare supporting documentation to help develop and deliver Cost Estimates.
- Proficient in various estimating formats and divisions with strong understanding of and proven performance with various cost databases
