The Project/Cost Accountant will work under the Cost Accounting Manager and VP, Corporate Controller, focusing on project costing, revenue recognition, and month-end closing. Key responsibilities include monitoring project progress, investigating variances, reviewing expenses, and ensuring project billings are issued to customers. The role involves close collaboration with the project team, especially Account Managers.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred) and 2-3 years of general accounting experience. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and an aptitude for systems and automation are essential.
This position supports the Accounting team and offers a hybrid schedule, with 3 days per week in-office. The role is based in Philadelphia, PA.
