Plant Superintendent
The Plant Superintendent is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role will have direct responsibility for Production, Maintenance, Materials, Safety and indirect responsibility for Quality and Engineering. This position will report directly to the VP of Manufacturing Operations.
· Must be available on if necessary for safety and plant shut down
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations of the plant
- Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operations teams
- Plant Staffing- No Overstaffing
- Adherent to company policies
- Raw materials inventory- within allowable levels
- Shipment of finished goods
- Safety
- Housekeeping
- Maintenance of equipment
- Reporting when required
- Working within chain of commands

- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to collaborate within the team.
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple projects.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience in plastics processing business- 5 years
- Excellent communication skills- verbal/nonverbal
- Computer system experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
