The PN3 Initiatives Coordinator plays a key role in elevating the work of the Spartanburg Academic Movement (SAM) through strategic planning and a collective impact approach. The PN3 Initiatives Coordinator will oversee day-to-day management of activities of the Center for Early Childhood Success focused on Prenatal to age three support. This role is responsible for strategic activities management, data collection, and partnership building related to birth outcomes and early childhood, which helps ensure the success of young children and their families across Spartanburg County.
Essential DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with program participants and partners external to the organization.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the CECS strategic plan, identifying opportunities for expanded impact in birth outcomes and early childhood success.
- Report and document initiatives progress to the Director.
- Review data and develop strategies for addressing gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement related to early childhood.
- Facilitate and support evidence-based interventions to accelerate outcomes as directed.
- Organize events for providers and partners to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Lead and/or support special initiatives as needed.
- Manage the local hotline for families in Spartanburg County.
- Support marketing efforts for various initiatives.
Education and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in education, social work, healthcare, psychology, or another related field.
- 3 years of experience leading community initiatives or programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Ability to form relationships with stakeholders and community members.
- Strong project management, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector and passion for community-based development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
