Job Summary : The IT Assistant will provide technical support to students, faculty, staff, and administration by responding to issues that arrive at the Helpdesk via support tickets and walk-ins. Job Summary : Working Conditions : The work is performed in the IT Center and is the first point of contact for the IT department. Respond to customer issues via ticketing system, phone, email, walk-ins, and any other form of contact. Resolve basic end-user technology problems and Escalate issues and tickets to other teammates. Document customer interactions. Follow-up in a timely manner with customers to ensure issues are resolved. Provide a high level of customer assistance.
