Extended Care Lead 2025 Job Description
Spartans Sports Camp is dedicated to providing an encouraging and positive environment that aids the development of its campers as both children and athletes. In the course of this goal, we intend to promote an active, healthy lifestyle for campers and to provide leadership opportunities for high school and college students. Spartans Sports camp is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the MVHS Athletic Department. Since 2012, the camp has raised over $550,000 for MVHS Athletics.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Supervise campers before (7:30 am-8:30 am) and/or after (3:00 pm- 7:00 pm) camp daily. Lead Extended Care is responsible for all operations of extended care.
-Communicate with parents during pick-up and ensure campers are signed out properly.
-Manage camper medications as needed.
-Keep facilities clean and organized
-Must be available to stay later than 7 pm on occasion
-Help promote camp during school year
-Attend ALL training sessions. Employees will be dismissed if they miss trainings without prior approval.
-May not work as a Counselor during the same week.
Compensation:
Extended Care Lead $24/hr. Must be 18 yrs or older.

Requirements
-Minimum current grade level: 11
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Pass background check
-CPR/First Aid Certified (training provided).
-Provide references upon request.
