Technician Assistant – Full-Time
Spay and Neuter of Salt Lake City | Murray, UT
Spay and Neuter of SLC is seeking a compassionate, competent, upbeat, and friendly Technician Assistant to join our growing team! This is a full-time position working four 10-hour shifts per week. Our clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, with select Saturdays from 7:00 AM–6:00 PM or 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. Candidates must be available to work some Saturdays. We are closed on most major holidays.

Our primary focus is affordable spay and neuter services for cats, dogs, and rabbits, along with dental procedures for cats and dogs. About the Role:
The Technician Assistant plays a vital role in our daily operations and the overall success of the clinic. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy and compassionate veterinary setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Patient prep for surgery (weighing cats, performing brief health checks)
- Assisting with intake of patients
- Washing, packing, and sterilizing up to 75 surgical packs per day
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment in all areas of the clinic
- Laundry and general clinic upkeep
- Running in-house diagnostic samples (e.g., bloodwork)
- Providing excellent patient care and customer service
- Other duties as assigned
