Job Description: Retail Associate – SPC Sports
Position Overview:
SPC Sports is seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Associate to join our team. This role involves assisting customers with baseball and softball equipment selection, maintaining a well-organized showroom, and ensuring top-notch customer service both in-person and over the phone. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance:
- Provide expert advice to customers in the showroom and over the phone regarding baseball and softball equipment.
- Answer product-related questions and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Sales & Transactions:
- Operate the register and efficiently process customer transactions.
- Ensure accuracy in pricing and handling payment methods.
- Store Maintenance:
- Stock the showroom floor with products and ensure items are displayed neatly and correctly.
- Tag merchandise with pricing labels and monitor inventory levels.
- Perform general cleaning tasks in employee areas to maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
- Phone Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries and assist with product availability and orders over the phone.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist with receiving and stocking large shipments from manufacturers.
- Organize backstock and ensure the showroom is replenished as needed.
Work Hours:
- Monday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling available during these hours.
Qualifications:
- Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with baseball and softball equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry large shipments of inventory (up to 30 lbs).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
