What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Care Attendant position at SPCA Serving Erie County?
This part-time position will require an individual who can perform a wide variety of tasks relating to the care of animals in a large building, and an individual who is comfortable working with the public. Duties include working with the shelter infirmary staff to assist in the treatment, identification, and movement of all animals within the shelter. The candidate for this position will have experience with animal handling and reading basic animal behavior. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to deal with animals of all species, in all conditions, admitted to the SPCA.
Weekends required.
