Speaks Law Firm is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to join our litigation team. The perfect candidate is tenacious, authentic, and focused on achieving the best outcome for our clients. We are looking for an experienced attorney with personal injury expertise, strong work ethic and humility to join our fast-growing, nationally recognized firm.Responsibilities : Lead and develop associate attorneys and paralegals in litigation department.Analyze evidence including medical records and investigative findings, interview clients and witnesses, consult field experts, and research statutes and case law.Prepare legal documents such as briefs, motions, pleadings, and other correspondence.Collaborate with Senior Leadership to determine case strategies and solutions to serve client's needs after thorough analysis and review of plaintiff and defense positions.Resolve cases to achieve the best possible outcome for the client through mediation, arbitration, and trial.Evaluate processes within the litigation department and streamline processes.Participate in weekly and biweekly meetings including 1 : 1’s with direct reports.Participate in marketing initiatives such as podcasts, blogs, and ad campaigns.Qualifications : Active member of NC Bar Association required.Active member of SC Bar Association a plus.Seven (7) or more years of experience in personal injury litigation required.Proficiency in writing, research, negotiation, and public speaking required.Must have authentic and persuasive communication and oratory skills.Intermediate to advanced computer skills required.Experience with Needles Neos Case Management Software a plus.Passion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude required.CompensationThis is a full-time salary exempt position.
