Land Surveyor / Party Chief

A medium sized North San Diego County civil engineering & land surveying firm in business for over 20 years is seeking a full-time, experienced Survey Party Chief for all types of land surveying work on projects throughout Southern California.

Experience and Knowledge of

• Trimble and/or Leica GPS & Robotic Total Stations

• Field survey techniques

• Boundary surveys/calculations

• Construction staking/calculations

• Topographic/ALTA surveys.

Preferred qualifications

• Five years' experience as party chief

• Strong mathematical background

• Good handwriting and note keeping

• Team player

• Strong communication skills

• Valid CA driver's license with a clean record

• Basic CAD experience
