Position Overview
The Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle Management plays a key leadership role in overseeing the operational effectiveness and efficiency of Revenue Cycle functions specific to Physical and Occupational Therapy services. This position requires a hands-on, analytical leader with deep experience in healthcare billing and collections, excellent time management, and a collaborative spirit to guide a team and improve performance across an established successful team.
This role will work closely with the Director of Revenue Cycle and partner with Clinical, Administrative, and Financial Departments to optimize reimbursements, and maintain regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in Data Analysis and Operational Leadership.
\n- Lead and support day-to-day Revenue Cycle operations, including Billing related inquiries from the Operations Team, Accounts Receivables, and Denial Management.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators and create analytic reports to drive Revenue Cycle performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and proactive problem solving.
- Collaborate with Clinical and Administrative Teams to ensure coding, documentation, and billing practices align with Payor reimbursements and compliance standards.
- Manage and mentor Revenue Cycle team members, fostering professional development, accountability, and a high-performance culture.
- Support month-end close processes, audits, and reporting to Senior Leadership.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, payor policies, and regulatory changes affecting Physical and Occupational Revenue Cycle operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Strong background in Physical and Occupational Revenue Cycle Management.
- Proficient in utilizing data analytic tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, etc.) to extract insights and present findings clearly.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing demands.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional collaboration, and drive results.
- Familiarity with Healthcare Billing systems such as Raintree preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS regulations, and payor guidelines.

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
