Description :
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to work as a liaison amongst technical and business stakeholders to facilitate the development of business requirements, lead business process redefinition studies and analyze the use of new technology for new or enhanced systems services. This position is responsible for working with business leads and subject matter experts (SMEs) from various program areas to understand business structure, policies, and operations in order to develop solutions to business-related issues and achieve business unit strategic goals and initiatives. Including, but not limited to, defining / refining metrics and creating dashboards and standard operating procedures for projects, leading the creation and assisting with the execution and completion of user acceptance testing (UAT), and assisting project managers and / or business units with defining project benefits and costs. Responsible for understanding current and future processes, including processes for the entire enterprise. The work product will impact the enterprise, as well as extra and / or inter-agency business on critical business activities.
Tasks :

Experience with complex projects including know how to deal with inter-project dependencies within a program and how to map out how a critical path in one project can derail critical path in another.5 years - Experience writing SQL queries and creating source to target mapping documents.5 years - Lead, facilitate, and coordinate business requirements gathering. Validate the requirements and assist with the functional design of solutions.5 years - Develop, execute, and document test plans and organize and oversee end-user testing and acceptance. Track defects and coordinate resolutions.5 years - Research, perform analysis, and provide recommendations for solutions that meet business needs and fit within the system / software capabilities.Comprehensive experience in business process analysis, new business process design, quality / process improvement, and change management.Thorough knowledge and understanding of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, testing, and deployment.Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Access, etc.).Working knowledge of project management methods, tools, and techniques, including MS Visio; experience working with project management software.Bachelor's DegreeSkills Must have
