What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Environmental Supervisor position at Spearhead Staffing LLC?
Seeking a corporate level, Senior Environmental Engineer for a publicly held heavy manufacturing company that will oversee regulatory compliance throughout industrial business segments in the United States. Travel requirements up to 50% and the role reports to a VP of Environmental. Candidates must come from the manufacturing sector – ideally heavy manufacturing such as metals, automotive, steel, etc.
Scope of role : responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and communication of the organizations environmental compliance programs and systems; provide guidance to site level EHS departments to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements.
Technical Requirements : must be proficient in compliance reporting.
1) experience handling major air source reporting including Title V and permitting experience. Lead plants through permitting process
2) compliance testing, RATA testing (glass, paints, kilns, driers)
3) reporting experience EPCRA TRI and Tier II
4) solid and hazardous waste at the state and federal levels
5) DMR water submittals (understanding the monthly, quarterly and yearly requirements).
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
