What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ed Tech III position at Special Education?
MSAD 60 is looking to fill 3 Ed Tech III positions at Noble Middle School and North Berwick Elementary School. Ed Tech IIIs will collaborate closely with the special education team in self contained and resource room settings. The supervising teacher will create academic, behavioral, and functional life skills plans for the Educational Technician to carry out throughout the day. Educational Technicians are expected to follow the designed plans as prescribed by the teacher.
Academic, behavioral, and functional life skills that will be supported include, but are not limited to, supporting students in:
Functional communication;
Collaborating with peers and staff;
Skills to support emotional regulation;
Strategies that allow students to access and participate in classroom activities.
Expected Classroom Behaviors;
Expected Socially Acceptable Behavior;
Candidates should be comfortable collecting data about student performance throughout the day. They will be supporting students individually, in small groups, and in regular education classrooms.
