What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ed Tech Long Term Sub - Noble Middle School position at Special Education?
MSAD 60 is looking for an Educational Technician to work with our students in grades 6 - 7 in a self-contained behavior classroom per Individualized Education Plans. The supervising teacher will create academic, behavioral, and social emotional plans for the Educational Technician to carry out throughout the day. Educational Technicians are expected to follow the designed plans as prescribed by the teacher.
Academic, behavioral, and social emotional skills that will be supported include, but are not limited to, supporting students in:
Functional communication;
Collaborating with peers and staff;
Skills to support emotional regulation;
Grade 6-8 support in grade level content areas
Expected Classroom Behaviors;
Expected Socially Acceptable Behavior;
Self-control;
Participation in multiple settings outside of the school building
Making Connections.
Candidates should be comfortable collecting data about student performance throughout the day. They will be supporting students individually, in small groups, in the special education classroom, and within the surrounding communities.
