Summary
Serves as support for the Human Resources Manager and general resource to all staff for issues relating to human resources activity by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Files and scans employee records into HR paper and electronic folders, and logs in Paylocity.
- Administers and reconciles Flex Dollar and Uniforms accounts and logs activity on spreadsheets.
- Prepares files and paperwork for New Employee Orientation.
- Monitors all staff licensure and certification dates, including CPR, to ensure compliance.
- Helps schedule training, arranges hospitality for training events and distributes training materials.
- Coordinates annual staff trainings in the areas of HIPPA compliance, Bloodborne Pathogens, Business Ethics, etc., and processes related documents.
- Helps schedule annual flu vaccination clinics, annual TB trainings and TB screeners, and benefits open enrollment appointments.
- Helps plan quarterly employee appreciation events, including hospitality for Staff Retreat, Employee Benefits Fair, Flu Vaccination Clinic, and Christmas.
- Participates in Camp Ability planning meetings and orientation to guide Camp employees in completing new hire onboarding paperwork and returning employee paperwork.
- Addresses non-employee and employees’ queries through telephone calls and email as directed.
- Maintains updated job postings for Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and Center for Nonprofit Management.
- Prepares Employee Status Change Forms (ESCF) for budgeted pay increases.
- Coordinates with Finance Clerk to update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for the Administration Building (Annex).
- Coordinates leadership prayer meetings.
- Attends meetings and conferences and participates in other activities to promote professional growth.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma. Work experience as a Human Resources Clerk preferred. Good understanding of Human Resources and solid organizational and time-management skills.
Computer Skills
To be successful in this job, an individual should have basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and web-based applications.
