Job Description
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Special Needs Network, you will engage in both (direct), in-person services and (indirect), remote tasks within a Hybrid Work Model. You’ll supervise clinical staff and deliver tailored care to families, contributing to high-quality, personalized interventions that empower children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Location Flexibility
Our Hybrid Work Model provides the opportunity for 50% Remote/Telehealth services and 50% In-Person supervision support, balancing flexibility with hands-on engagement.
We deliver services throughout all around the Lakewood including areas Old Lakewood City, Lakewood Village, Los Cerritos, Paramount, Bellflower, Clearwater, Rendalia, Rancho Estates, West Rancho Dominguez, Compton, East Compton, El Dorado South, South of Conant,Los Cerritos.
We assign cases within a 25-mile radius of each BCBA’s home zip code to minimize travel and ensure caseloads remain as close to home as possible.
(Direct) In-Person Responsibilities
- Supervision of Clinical Team: Guide and support Behavior Consultants (BCs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) in the delivery of ABA interventions.
- Crisis Intervention: Address behavioral crises in-person to ensure client safety.
- Parent Training and Support: Educate parents on strategies to support behavior change in the home environment.
(Indirect) Remote Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Create intervention plans based on assessments to meet individual client goals.
- Data Analysis: Analyze Behavioral Data to track progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
- Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs): Conduct behavioral assessments remotely to identify and address specific behavioral needs.
- Utilize Reinforcement Strategies: Apply reinforcement techniques to promote positive behaviors in clients.
- Evidence-Based Practices: Use research-supported methods to maintain treatment fidelity and deliver high-quality interventions.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Engage with other professionals (e.g., teachers, therapists) to ensure comprehensive support.
- Professional Development: Access ongoing training and free CEUs for continuous learning.
Caseload Information
BCBAs manage a variable caseload to provide personalized care tailored to each client’s needs. Key details include:
- Proximity to Home: We assign cases within a 25-mile radius of each BCBA’s home zip code to minimize travel and keep caseloads as close to home as possible.
- BCBAs can conduct supervision via Telehealth for up to 50% of their authorized hours a month, offering flexibility in service delivery.
- Each BCBA is required to fulfill 120 authorized clinical hours per month, which encompass: Clinical supervision, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and Data analysis.
Requirements
- Active BCBA Certification: Hold a current and valid BCBA certification to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, including clinical supervision, is preferred but not required. We value diverse backgrounds that enrich our team.
- In-Home ABA Services: Familiarity with in-home ABA services is required, enhancing our ability to provide personalized support to families.
- Educational Background: A Master’s degree is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word (document formatting, report creation) and Excel (data analysis, spreadsheet management), with internet navigation skills for effective research and communication.
