POSITION: Development Coordinator, Events and Law Enforcement Torch Run
DEPARTMENT: Development
REPORTS TO: Manager, Development Events and Law Enforcement Torch Run
Purpose:
Reporting to the Manager, Development Events and Law Enforcement Torch Run, the Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the operations and administration of multiple aspects of Special Olympics Florida Signature events and the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent
- 1-5 years administrative experience
- Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to efficiently and effectively problem-solve
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent customer service ethics and high expectations for quality
Responsibilities:
- Support development department with administrative tasks related to signature events and Law Enforcement Torch Run
- Manage and inventory and ordering of event equipment, supplies, and corporate gifts for assigned events
- Support CRM database management
- Assist with the preparation of Sponsor An Athlete Board for assigned events
- Assist with the accounts receivable process for assigned events/campaigns
- Support invoice delivery and tracking for assigned events/campaigns
- Support ordering of Law Enforcement Torch Run merchandise and manage invoices for all orders
- Assist with planning and execution of LETR Final Leg
- Assist with all aspects of planning for the LETR International Conference
- Assist with the maintenance of LETR social accounts and master calendar
- Assist with the thank you letter process for agency participation and events as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Special Requirements:
- Must be able to complete weekend and evening duties as assigned
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Status: Full-time, non-exempt position
