Respiratory Therapist Manager Opportunity

The Role:
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist Manager with strong leadership and execution skills to manage tasks and develop a team of respiratory therapists. This exempt, full-time position works alongside with Director of Nursing, and oversees Respiratory Therapists team. This position is Full time with a flexible 40 hours schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Provides fabulous every day care, every day to clients and other customers.
- Provides evaluation, treatment, monitoring, testing, mechanical ventilation, and education using accepted Respiratory Therapy procedures and techniques for pulmonary function, disease, processes, and prevention.
- Responsible for coordination and implementation of respiratory equipment change.
- Initiate and update care plans in our electronic health record.
- Attend and provide clinical information for respiratory client appointments.
- Attend and provide clinical support for respiratory client social outings.
- Instructs clients and families on appropriate home programs and care.
- Acts as liaison and assume the duty to report and coordinate nursing services regarding client status and care.
- Acts independently and make sound clinical judgments regarding changing client status and needs and subsequent required care.
Requirements:
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist or Certified by the American Association of Respiratory Care or National Board of Respiratory Care with comparable experience in respiratory care.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- At least 2 years of experience in a critical care, ICU setting is preferred.
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task

Range: $80,000- $95,000
