Medical Receptionist – Patient Care Representative
Medical front desk experience, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and managing faxes.
Knowledge of insurance verification
A positive attitude with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service.
Sharp problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt quickly.
Front Desk Duties:
- Answer phone calls professionally and manage faxes, emails, and other forms of correspondence.
- Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and provide patients with accurate information regarding their care plans.
- Assist patients with insurance verification, resolving issues related to coverage, eligibility, and co-pays.
- Work collaboratively with behavioral health, pathology, and oncology teams as needed.
- Ensure inclusive and empathetic communication for patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform additional front desk tasks, such as processing payments and coordinating medical documentation.
