Job Summary:
Specialists in Dermatology is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Surgery Inventory & Room Support team member to assist with the organization, distribution, and maintenance of medical supplies within our surgery department. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our patient rooms are clean, fully stocked, and ready for procedures. You’ll also work closely with our medical assistants to support overall clinic cleanliness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize medical supplies and equipment according to clinic standards.
- Organize and distribute medical supplies to designated surgery patient rooms.
- Replenish medical stock and maintain a clean, organized storage area.
- Support medical assistants in preparing and cleaning patient rooms before and after procedures.
- Dispose of used materials and biohazards properly following safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor when restocking is needed.
- Assist with labeling and tracking inventory as needed.
- Ensure all work areas are tidy and compliant with infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols.
