What You'll Do:
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of product integrity—ensuring our components and finished goods meet every critical spec. You’ll be the go-to for inspections, measurements, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. You will:
- Perform hands-on inspection, testing, and analysis of parts, assemblies, and purchased components
- Operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect and validate dimensions with precision
- Review engineering drawings, measure Critical to Quality (CTQ) dimensions, and sign off on final configurations
- Document first article inspections and other QA activities according to standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Suppliers to solve quality-related challenges
- Mentor and train teammates on QA tools, including GD&T, inspection techniques, and CMM use
- Manage and track inspection activities, non-conformance reports (NCMRs), corrective actions, and internal audits
- Lead or support third-party inspections and customer audits
- Contribute to process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Demonstrate a self-starting attitude, technical agility, and a commitment to getting it right—every time
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, process-oriented, and ready to drive quality at every level.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and 4–6 years’ experience in quality or manufacturing
- Strong background in machining, tooling, CNC/manual machining, or inspection in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection documentation
- Experience with GD&T, ISO standards, Six Sigma, NCMRs, and shop floor controls
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a major plus
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

- Standing, walking, crouching, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Working in a production and warehouse environment that may expose you to machinery, fumes, and varying temperatures
- Wearing required PPE, including steel toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection when necessary
- Occasionally traveling to support inspections, audits, or field support
