A Customer Service Associate is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the office and its various departments. Duties include answering phone calls and emails from customers, coordinating with department heads, relaying important order information or to staff and entering orders into the system. As a customer service representative, you are the first point of contact for internal and external customers and are expected to communicate in a professional and timely manner
Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the business needs, but might include :
- Customer Service – Email, telephone, and in-person communication related to business operations
- Order Entry
- Host meetings with Vendors, Customers, and suppliers and make sure front office is presentable
- Research and maintain vendor and customer price lists and customer data
- Assist in communicating pricing, quotes, order updates, delivery, and production status with customers
- Participate in physical inventory count as needed
- Understand the process flows and where handoffs occur to ensure consistent execution.
- Other management designated tasks as required
