What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Administrator position at Specialty Appliance?
Hours will be M-F from 8am - 4:30pm (flexible)
Job Summary
Assist and manage the contact’s day-to-day ordering activities and ensure all
performance standards are being met.
General Accountabilities
- Responsible for procuring routine, non-routine and potentially complex supplies & goods.
- Create vendor purchase orders for materials and services
- Receive, vet and input customer purchase orders into ERP system
- Ensure all available inventory is used first, adjust dates on existing POs to match inventory needs.
- Track all vendor orders and update ETAs and tracking into system while communicating with management on ETA and procedural concerns.
- Field inquiries from internal and external customers, including status updates, stock availability and shipment tracking information
- Investigate PO discrepancies
- Periodic RFQs to vendors to maintain customer pricelists
- Support costing/quoting projects as assigned
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
